In 2003, in an orchard in Lower Sticker, half an acre in size, a fundraising event for Merlin MS Centre, known then as the Merlin Project, took place. It was a small affair with a few craft stalls and a beer tent, which also provided the venue for the evening entertainment, The Bucket Boys.
That initial event, even though small in size, raised £5000 for the charity. The committee declared it a success and decided then to make it an annual event, Sticker Rally was born.
The next two years saw the event move into Mr Michael Griggs grain barn and surrounding fields, and then when space required dictated a move to the Sticker AFC Football Club ground and surrounding fields, it has become the home of the event ever since.
With a larger committee and fresh ideas, Sticker Rally Cornwall continues to grow year on year, offering entertainment for all the family.
Dog shows, displays, steam and vintage vehicles, craft stalls, children’s and evening entertainment are integral to the success of this now two day event.
